Studio apartment at Historical House

Owner texted me and asked when I would be checking in and meet up personally to check us in and show us the place. Very friendly.

The bed was a little soft for my back, but I have a bad back. But the place is only a block from the medical school.

Quiet neighborhood, privacy with the apartment and patio. Clean and well equipped apartment. Dog friendly.

Location was great and the quiet neighborhood was perfect. Great pre-cruise stay. The dinette was a great place to double check documents and play a game in the evening. The outside space would have been great if it was a little warmer outside. It was a cool Spring Break weekend so the inside was perfect.

Instructions in the booking notes to knock on the front door to meet the host would have been nice. Parking is on the street in front which I wasn’t prepared for, so a little confusing. The numbers on the house were not prominent from the street so it took two trips around the block to get the correct house.

Location was great and quiet! The sheets were soft, and if you like softer beds, the bed was good. Host was very nice.

The room we reserved had a king bed and a ceiling fan in the room. It stated it had AC. The room we got had a double bed and no ceiling fan. There was a window unit in the bedroom, which we had to run an extension cord to so we would have AC. The other rooms didn't have AC. We paid $184 for something that we didn't reserve.

I loved the location and easy access to the studio. It was very cozy with a large bed, mini kitchen, dining table, and decent sized bathroom. All of these would be perfect for 1-3 people no matter your length of stay! Complimentary water and coffee was included.

They were rude and make you pay in cash when that is not listed
