We had a wonderful time at Villa Secret Spot Luxury. It’s the perfect place for two families or a group of close friends, just steps away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The villa offers everything you need – plenty of shared spaces to enjoy together, as well as quiet corners to relax on your own. Wayne, the house manager, is fantastic – he immediately helped us with the broken TV and took care of everything else we needed. Thank you once again!

Nice house and a kind supervisor

The house needs an upgrade (cleanliness, basement wet due to a leak, sun blinds in the main room). Unfortunately there were almost every day water interruptions (sometimes until 10pm) and therefore we had no water at all (means no WC, no shower, no kitchen since dishwasher not usable)

Amazing villa, the photos don't do it justice

This is truly a ‘Wow’ property - and the photos just don’t do it enough justice! Bright and open interior with numerous smaller areas outside that allow everyone to find their own space for a bit of privacy. An enormous sun terrace at the top with enough hammocks and beds for everyone to have their own - and incredible views across the ocean and down to the beaches from the Buddha garden at the very top of the house. Lots of lovely finishing touches that make this place feel like a home from home. Our adult kids were delighted with all the entertainment on offer. The villa was spotless upon arrival. Supermarkets within five minute drive. Parking directly outside. Quiet neighborhood, but beach and bars just five minute drive away - or 20 minute walk down the hill (it’s a tough walk back up but worth it if you fancy feeling like you did some exercise - or just a bottle of wine with dinner - which we did every night!)

There isn’t a single thing we could suggest for improvement.

It is not often we say we will go back to the same place again - VSS is one of those places - absolutely superb from Top to Bottom and something for everyone. We have a list of "we will only book if" and this place ticks it all beach access (nice walk there), pool, aircon, bbq and space. The rooftop(top) bbq was properly used and is so special while watching the sunset. Everything was supplied and in top condition (a few shutter hiccups but nothing unresolved). Lourinha and surrounds also a superb spot with great beaches and restaurants and things to do. Lastly a hats off to Ruth - above and beyond the call of duty - thanks Angel

Everything was perfect. The host was super helpful and the villa had everything we could ever had dreamed of. The house was unbelievably beautiful and clean. The best part of the house was definitelly the sauna and the gorgeous view to the sea.

The villa was a wonderful experience. Everything in the house was new and clean. The atmosphere inside was really cozy. The height of the living room and the open staircase up to the roof was architecturally great. We were received by Rute and she was very helpful in all matters related to our vacation, Thank You! The garden around the pool and on the roof terrace with wonderful views of the sea and the valleys made the house an even better experience. In general, we were impressed by the tranquility of the area and the relaxed country life. One day we went shopping in Lisbon, which was less than an hour away. The barbecue parties on the roof terrace in the evenings when it was calm and we saw the sun set in the Atlantic was particularly memorable. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance, but as was recommended you need a car to go to the shops and often also to the restaurants in Areia Branca. We vacationed at the destination in August and here we didn't have to suffer from too much heat, which we feared at first. Thank you again for organizing the baby bed and stuff and the extra mattress for our friend's family. We hope to return here in the future.

The terrain is hilly in the vicinity. Walking with small children and grandparents is challenging. The views are nice though and it's easy to get around by car and you could always park it right next to the house.

property was great. 10 minute walk to the beach from up the hill. it was very windy in this area. some days were cold because of this, but that is expected close to the coast.

there was a chlorine leak from the pool (the pump is in the basement) and our eyes were burning. We were scared because chlorine in high doses are lethal. so we opened all windows and messaged the property manager. Anna was incredible and she along with her husband came at 2am to check the situation. I also messaged the owner and didn’t receive a reply from him. Also, no credit back for the scare. We have 2 young children so I expected more from him. None the less, the property manager made up for the owners lack of concern. For this reason alone, we will never return to this villa.
