Nice, relatively new construction house in a quiet and peaceful area. Tastefully decorated. Beautiful sunset views from the full length windows in the living room. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Convenient location to urban amenities in Caldas da Rainha and to the beach and lagoon. Free on-site parking directly in front of the house.

There is no heat in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We arrived on a cold, rainy day in late November to find the one heater in the house, in the living room, had been turned off, and the window had been left open in the main bedroom. It was pretty cold in the house. When we asked the owners about heat in the bedrooms, they just told us that no heat is provided in the bedrooms, but it would probably warm up in a day or so, especially if the rain stopped. We asked about the wood-pellet stove, and they told us we could get fuel in town. So we drove, at night, in the rain, in an unfamiliar city, already exhausted after a trans-Atlantic flight, to the supermarket, to buy a bag of wood pellets. We later discovered that the pellet stove already had fuel, but they didn't tell us that, and their printed instructions for using the stove are inadequate and incomplete unless you are already familiar with this kind of heating equipment, which we were not. Ultimately, we had to purchase a portable electric heater at our own expense to keep the bedroom at a comfortable temperature. The house is listed as three bedrooms, and we paid the listed price for three bedrooms. When we arrived, we found only the bed in the main bedroom had been made up, and there were no extra bed linens anywhere in the house. When we asked about that, the owners told us that because we were only two people, they had decided to provide only one bed. After we insisted on additional bedding and again pointed out that we had paid for three bedrooms, they reluctantly agreed to send their property manager over to make up *one* additional bed for us. The kitchen, living room, and main bedroom have beautiful full length windows, which are great. One morning, a swimming pool maintenance guy showed up while we were eating breakfast, still in our pajamas. The owners had not told us he would be coming.

A beautiful, comfortable house in a great location, perfect for relaxing and exploring the area by car.

- An unpleasant situation after the stay due to the host threatening to withhold part of the deposit, even though it was stated to be a damage deposit. The reported issues exaggerated the actual condition in which we left the house. - The cleaning rules were only mentioned on page 20 of a long information booklet and were never clearly communicated before our departure. - Poor communication after our stay and unfair interpretation of the cleaning expectations.

De ligging omdat de restaurants niet dichtbij liggen. Het dichtbijgelegen restaurant lag op een half uur lopen.

Casa muito confortável e espaçosa. Adorámos o espaço exterior e a piscina aquecida foi a cereja no topo do bolo, apesar do clima ter estado excelente. Zona super tranquila para quem quer descansar.

Zona muy tranquila, casa amplia y cuidada. Tal cual se muestra en fotos. Lo mejor, su piscina climatizada. Claridad en las instrucciones para el acceso y disfrute de la casa, buena comunicación con el alojamiento. Todo perfecto.

Modern, super clean house with a comfortable bed and a great pool. The pool was heated, long, and deep enough for doing laps. Excellent location for kitesurfers, as it’s close to the Óbidos Lagoon. Also conveniently located near Óbidos town, Nazaré, and other tourist attractions. Great communication with the host and a very easy check-in process.
