This is a very special place run by very special people who are on-site to attend to your every need or wish and can't do enough for their guests. They are patient, good-natured, and do their work with excellence and discretion. Very special thanks to Suman, Amelia, Saikat and Bimlesh and Sunita for taking such good care of us. The chef prepared the most delicious food for us, sometimes with very little notice. We celebrated a significant birthday, and they all went out of their way to make it a birthday to remember - including a firework display in the garden. It is this team that make the villa such an incredible place to be and make the magic happen on behalf of the property owners who live overseas. Private, easy beach-front access, srunning well-maintained gardens and pool, beautifully appointed rooms with antique Indian furniture. Simple and elegant. Quiet and away from hustle and bustle but still minutes walk to shops and cafés. This is an absolute gem of a place. It was one of the main highlights of my return to India after many years. I can't wait to stay here again.
