Blue Ocean Villa

This family was so kind and welcoming. We loved our stay here. We stayed with the 4 of us and had the whole villa for ourselves, we even got surprised with the little jacuzzi that Suji built, it was a great way to cool down (small charge to keep it clean and for fresh water in the pool). The views are just breathtaking and the details of the house outside are beautiful.

For us the bed was a bit hard, but that's a personal taste.

Host brought us coffee in the mornings, helped us find tuktuk and also helped us order dinner!

Good place

Wonderfully located just at the shore of the ocean, the view is breathtaking and there's always a fresh sea breeze. The villa is equipped with everything you need and also offers many cozy outdoor places to hang out: the terrace, sun beds underneath, a little garden and a dinner table directly at the sea. There's a bus stop just out of the door and you can also rent a scooter or tuk tuk from the host for a fair price. Yes, the villa is a bit off from tourist spots, but it's great to find some silence. We worked remotely from there and that worked perfectly. There are stunning beaches in walking distance and in only 15 min by scooter you're at popular places such as Hiriketiya or Dondra. The host is incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. He brought us Sri Lankan breakfast a few mornings, invited us to the Sri Lankan new year feast and just did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. When we left he even organized us a seat on a bus to Ella which picked us up right at the Villa. Thanks again for everything, it was a wonderful stay and we'd love to come back!

This is a very unique place, as mentioned by other reviews. It has two bedrooms, the second one, with two beds, has AC, which goes for some extra money, but reasonably. However the house never gets really hot and we didn't even use fans at night time, as the sea breeze from the window was just enough. The house is very well maintained and everything works just right. Booking's pictures are very accurate. The owner is kind, helpful and always there if you need to, doing a great job to keep his guests safe and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Traffic noise, as the house is right on the main road - it mixes with the sound of waves clashing the rocks, so it's not that bad, we got used to it after a few days.

Fantastic location on the shore. Turlles via for space with surfers in the bay. Comfortable rooms. Great deck area and super helpful hosts.

Right on the edge of the sea...nicely done spots to enjoy the ocean views. Basic but clean accommodation. The owner was very helpful and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.
