The accommodation was very comfortable and peaceful. The area was perfect for our family. The pool was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Large fridge and good cooking facilities (if you fancy cooking a nice breakfast). The upstairs terrace area wasn't available to use as needs an uplift but the garden area was lovely. The owner was very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. We were visited daily by a group of monkeys who came to snack on the berries in the garden and saw various local wildlife. Just a short tuk tuk ride from the main beach road. Also close to a pharmacy, local restaurants and food stores. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. In fact we already have!!

We liked Unawatuna. There are some great beaches nearby. Galle is just 10 min drive by car. Location of the place is ok, very close to some drug stores. To get to the beaches, I'd need to do considerable walking. We used the car.

Beware that you'll get not what you see on the pictures. Second floor is not functional at all. Dirt and garbage everywhere. Insides the house, it looks quite a normal place to live, but kitchen facilities are limited. If it's a rainy / cloudy day, be prepared to survive w/o hot water (it was our case. The host said that solar panels won't work. Ok. but why not have a back-up electric water heater?). If there's a power cut in the city / neighborhood, be ready to deal w/o electricity for the whole day (it was our case, since there's no power generator). Pool would be the only bright spot, but be aware that just behind the pool there is a small water channel, which stinks all day long. The host was not really responsible for our claims. The house itself and the surrounding yard are not properly maintained. Just across the property, there's another bigger guest house / hotel, which can get quite noisy during the evenings and nights. To sum up it all, it was the worst experience we had in Sir Lanka during two weeks spent. A total disappointment.

The villa is in a very quiet spot with lovely gardens and it's own pool. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We thought it offered excellent value for money for our time in Unawatuna. A tuk tuk to the main area of Unawatuna where there are restaurants and the beach will cost you 600LKR. The villa is extremely comfortable with 2 x bathrooms, hot showers, 2 x bedrooms with comfortable king size beds and mosquito nets and air conditioning and ceiling fans in both bedrooms. It also benefits from a lounge area with TV and you tube etc. We had an issue with the pool on the 3rd day, which the owner worked very hard to resolve for us and was appreciated.

Although the villa was very clean throughout the cooker hood was filthy with dust and grease. This put me off cooking in the villa and we didn't not think that represented just how lovely the rest of the place is.

The villa is beautiful, furnished to a high standard, the kitchen has everything you should need. The garden is amazing with lots of wildlife. The pool is huge and so well maintained. We felt very safe. It is very quiet but so close to Galle and Unawatuna. We will definitely stay again.

the shared wall with the neighbors is too low. we didnt get enough privacy as there were people looking every now and then from the other side. only this small thing bothered us except for that everything else was fantastic! also maybe add a paslock to the front gate for more security.
