The house, the pool, the location.

The grass in the garden is more than half dry, making it difficult to walk on and dangerous because it cuts your feet In the photos, the grass appears all green, but that's not what I found

The place was spotless when we arrived and the property company are excellent. They bend over backwards to help. The outside area is well maintained and the beds are comfortable enough. The air con worked fine.

The property is slightly let down by little things. The washing machine is ancient and leaks. There is nothing to clean the debris from pool with and the barbecue is rusted and useless. There are ants everywhere. I know this is not uncommon but having been to Portugal most years for the last decade, I have never seen this many in one place. There is only enough hot water for one shower at a time in a villa for 6 people.

Quiet street

The bed was extremely uncomfortable - the pillows were worse!! I have never used such lumpy pillows. The washing machine wouldn’t work, and when the host got it work it would not open - so had to move on with wet clothes
