Cochran Farm House

Very comfy cozy, and home-like. It was in a family friendly neighborhood, low traffic.

The front door seemed a little wiggly, but it locked ok.

Not applicable! We didn't like anything about the place or especially the treatment by the owner when we called her.

When we saw the property, we were disappointed at its appearance and cleanliness. There was an odor of smoking in the house which caused my friend to have an allergic reaction. She lost her voice almost immediately upon entering the house. We were disappointed that we had to walk thru one bedroom to reach the other one, and thru both to reach the bathroom. When we contacted the owner about the situation, she came almost immediately and began screaming at us as soon as we said we were not happy with the place, and could not stay because of the odor of cigarette smoke inside. She yelled that it was smoke free, as indicated by the signs inside. Smoking was limited to the porch outside, she screamed at us. We asked for a refund, but she absolutely refused, and said we could go somewhere else if we didn't like it here.

Little hard to get up the stairs

Very cute old house and extremely cozy and well stocked w all things needed.

Just the few things noted above: The check out could have been more like 11 and the front door could have been a little updated to feel more secure in the sense of safety. There was a metal bin in the kitchen that had moldy looking dog food bits or something in it. The AC units should’ve been removed as it was nearly below freezing when we stayed so the room w the AC beside the bed, that person froze to death as air conditioning as coming in around the AC unit.
