Villa Lapintiira

We liked staying in the woods! We liked that there was a grocery store near by. We saw reindeer walking around the property. The property was clean and our beds were comfortable.

The property was small for our group of 6 adults. The stairwell was narrow and hard to navigate with our luggage. It was difficult having 1 bathroom. Also, we couldn’t get the sauna to work.

Staying in this house was a truly wonderful experience! 2 adults and 3 children enjoyed all the comforts. sauna, kitchen, terrace, books, toys...everything you could want on vacation. The location is exceptional and a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area. We watched the northern lights right from the yard, and in the immediate vicinity there is an exceptional viewpoint from where you can see the whole city and also the Aurora. I recommend 👌🏻

It was lovely location, big enough for 4 people.

We found a dirty eye mask and underwear in the apartment. The hot water flicked off everytime you use the washing machine so ended with 2 cold showers in winter. Also no floor towels for bathroom.

It was a lovely villa and despite the light pollution we could see the Northern Lights from here.

Stairs were abit narrow to navigate. Only 1 bathroom.

Perfect location. Beautiful accommodation.

A little dark for us but perhaps some people prefer the dimmed light.

Amazing location and amazing house.

Everything was amazing, the chalet looks just like the pictures. It is very clean, and has many utensils in the kitchen making it easy to cook various things. The fireplace is such a big plus, with the firewood provided by the owner. We had a great time, were so cozy, and really enjoyed the location as well (in the nature, very quiet and close to hiking trails). There is a fancy hotel (Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara) only 7 minutes walk away that offers an amazing breakfast buffet, it's worth it to try at least once!

The only thing was the lack of hand towels in the bathroom and kitchen towels in the kitchen.
