Wallama Villa

A lovely young couple who couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful position right on a idyllic peaceful beach. Large bedroom and a welcome hot shower along with a well equipped kitchen. A short walk to supermarket and restaurants. Ideally located for bus and train stations.

It is a nicely organized place with all the facilities. There is a nice beach in front of the villa. Really worth for the money.

This was our first accomodation after having arrived at Sri Lanka. The Service of the host family was great and we felt save and sound after our long journey. The room was clean and we received coconuts as a welcome drink.

It was one of the best apartments I've stayed in while traveling. Very nice family who solved all our problems. The location of the accommodation is just great, I can't even imagine a better one. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! The owner of Villa Amila is a very friendly and welcoming person, met us at the airport and took us to the place. The villa has everything you need for living, a kitchen with cooking utensils, a terrace with furniture where you can sit and enjoy a direct view of the ocean. The sound of the ocean accompanied us even at night with the windows closed - an incredible musical accompaniment. There is no air condition, but there is a fan and it was quite enough. Amila organized several excursions for us, everything went great too. And he also made us some coconuts as a greeting, and another evening he cooked an unreal dinner with crabs, like a first-class chef! Thank you so much for our wonderful vacation! We are happy with everything! I wish Villa Wallama prosperity!

There is no hot water here, but this did not worsen our rest at all, because the water was like room temperature and after the heat outside the shower was pleasant. In general, if there was any minus, then it is one in 100 pluses! :-)

the location is absolutely amazing, right on the beach. actually you will have a sand garden with a barbecue and hammocks 😊 the owners are a young couple that don’t live at the property but they pass some time taking care of it and they are 24h available via WhatsApp. they have also kitchenette, so you can cook your own staff. perfect for long staying😊

the property has no hot water but you probably you will not need it. i preferred take shower immediately after the ocean water.

Amila and Chandi are true hosts. They not only serve to their clients‘ needs but look after and care for them - even after check out. Additionally they have a good sense of humor and empathy.
