Artistic Pool Private Villa

We loved our stay at the villa. Communication on arrival was great, Yiannis met us and showed us everything we needed to know about the Villa. He also sent us some great restaurant recommendations. We also had a visit from Maria, the owner, who was so welcoming and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. She also left us some gifts through out our stay! The villa was well equiped with all the essentials already there, so no mad dash to the supermarket on first arrival. fruit, wine, water as a welcome gift. Lots of other essentials provided. Also beach towels, beach umbrellas etc etc, it really does make a difference. The Villa itself is very comfortable with everything you could need, very spacious and well designed. The outside area's are great, with lovely pool area and a beautiful garden. The location just on the outskirts of the city meant a 30 min downhill walk to the city centre, we found a route that half of that you were walking by the sea with great views, it was great to work up an appetite for our evening meal in the heart of beautiful Chania and all it has to offer. We often got a taxi back which was cheap. We also used the bus service that stops just outside the villa to access the city. We were there in early April and glad we chose a villa near a city centre as driving around the local area some beaches, tavernas hadn't yet opened for the season. Thats not to say we had a fantastic time exploring all the hiking trails, monasteries, botanical garden, beaches, museums and more of western Crete.

Beds were a little hard.

We had an amazing stay in Chania, the property was amazing with all the facilities you could ask for. Just outside the property was a bus stop to take you into Chania town with buses running every half an hour. Anastasia was an amazing host and the property had everything we needed.

The view unfortunately has been completed blocked by a new development, its a massive shame but nothing they can do about that. The upstairs bedroom can become really hot even with the air conditioning on, the extra fans where a bonus.

Met by Anastasia in the villa - she explained everything and was v friendly. Fantastic week, pool was great. Villa on 2 levels, upstairs sunny bedroom with large terrace and sea views. Lots of outdoor space. V Easy to get to Charnia town since bus stopped literally outside the door.

No problems at all.

It was very very clean, the host was very friendly and helped us with everything ☺️

The AC upstairs was too little for the big room, we ware not able to cool it down under 30degrees celcius

This stylish and well-equipped house is named "Artistic" for a reason: there was lot of art, also in suprising places. Everything was as described: lot of room, pool, view, good location, easy to go to old town by bus etc. Maria and Anastasia: Thank you for your hospitality. Wish you all the best!
