A nice property in a quiet location not too far from the beach (the lighthouse is approximately 40 minutes walk away). We rented the entire house but the property is actually split into two separate near identical flats each with two bedrooms, one en suite, plus a separate bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. The outside area is well maintained with plenty of sun loungers and an outdoor dining area.

The ground floor kitchen is quite dated and doesn’t have hot water! This we were told is normal in Spanish kitchens. (Really?) Hot water to the bathrooms was a bit of an issue at first because you have to press a switch in each bathroom then wait some time before hot water appeared - and then only one shower at a time could be used. After complaining we were told that’s how it is but when we pressed the point the property manager magically fixed the problem by turning on the hot water at all times. The beds were comfortable with crisp clean linen although the pillows had seen better days. The furniture throughout was okay but fairly basic. Whilst it is stated in the small print you should be aware that heating of the hot tub and swimming pool costs €25 per day each and has to be paid at the end of your stay in cash. Also, the WiFi was very unreliable and we ended up just using our own data plans.

We were a family of 7, and the property was excellent for our stay house was so well equipped, we found the local taxi service & public transport excellent for getting about. Dave our host welcomed us & any problems he was just a phone call away. We would definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
