Villa Tukkilahti Lakeside 5 Bedroom Villa with Sauna

The house and the lake are great. If the house would be better maintained and better cleaned it would be perfect.

The house was very poorly cleaned. Absolutely not ok for a house in this price class. The house was also poorly maintained. We found a solution with the owner but it took me to much hours of my vacation.

It's a decent, modern, well sized house.

It was badly cleaned, spots on furniture and tissues, there were ants, the garbage bins were not emptied from the previous guests - so we had to find place for our garbage somewhere. We found rusted nails on our private beach - luckily nobody got injured. Besides all that, the house is neither interesting or cozy, been too much nicer places in Finnland.

Nice and fairly modern cottage at the lake in Savonranta. 5 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms which makes the stay comfortable.

Very small kitchen, if you want to cook for more people. No Sauna inside of the House. Therefor Sauna Cottage 50 m away from the house.

Lots of space, comfortable beds and overall living area. Great sauna building and peer for jumping in the water. The rowing boat is great and the storage is stocked with lots of good dry wood to light the sauna and bbq.

The bbq area could do with a little extra love and care but we managed to have great dinners and cook open wood crepes all the same!

The location is nice and quiet. The house is of a very convenient layout, modern and very well fitted throughout. Also very clean. Water pier and outbuildings (sauna and barbecue hut) were of a high quality and well located.

Not really fitted out with a fishing holiday in mind. There was no fish cleaning table which you would expect to find in a place like that. We have rented the outboard motor for the boat but it was poorly maintained and did not work reliably, so we could not risk longer trips on the lake. The rain gutters were blocked, so during heavy rain water would come cascading down on to the terrace.

Spacious and well built house with very nice sauna facility and grill (both separate buildings outside). With direct acess to lake, this must be a gem during the summer. We were lucky and it snowed during our stay, so the view from large windows right into the forest was breathtaking. Kitchen is well equipped. Fireplace adds coziness and the house has a lot of space for bigger group of people. Also very nice layout with spacious living room/dining hall. We appreciated the possibility to manipulate the thermostate as fireplace warmed the place up very fast. Very well equipped bathroom facilities and good matrasse to sleep on. This is a very remote place to enjoy nature and silence. Great communication with host all the way from booking to check-out.

Pillows are uncomfortable. If this is essential for you, bring your own. Inside door openers are very cracky (you wake up as early as one of you uses the toilet). Perhaps because the rest of the house is so well built, this feature really stands out. Considering the size of the house, fridge was rather small. We had to work out with shovels upon arrival to get to sauna and grill. Except shoveling the snow, not much activities in the vicinity (this was not a surprise for us as we chose the location). This should not be a problem during the summer (lake, fishing), but during the winter time, action seekers might be bored.
