"Simple luxury in a small lodge - perfect couples get away"

We loved the view from our Lodge and how quiet and peaceful it was sitting and looking over the harbour and surrounding islands. It's a short drive down the hill to Stromness and our hosts provided great suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing.

Very comfortable property. Well-provisioned (full kitchen, host provided some breakfast and snack items). Gorgeous view. Lovely host on site. Would love to stay here again.

I was on foot and have a bad knee. The property is a half-mile from a grocery store and restaurants, up a steep hill. It would have been better to have a car. However, some guests arrived on bicycle!
