Casa Palombara - Healiday in Torre Salsa

We absolutely loved everything about our experience spending two weeks at Casa Palombara. The property is set on a hilltop, at the edge of a natural reserve and offers stunning views over the surrounding areas, the natural reserve and the sea, which you can enjoy while having a breakfast or dinner on the front terrace. The entire top of the house is a terrace with a 360-view over the surrounding fields and the sea. One of the highlights of our experience was watching the sunset from the rooftop - amazing view of the sun slowly disappearing into the sea and nearby peninsula (not less spectacular than the famous Santorini sunset). The area is relatively undeveloped (next house is several hundred metres away), very calm, with olive tree fields and vineyards, and in our experience safe. The last few hundred metres to the property are on an unpaved, yet well maintained road. The property is modern, very well arranged with all necessary amenities. All three bedrooms (incl. the master bedroom with en suite bathroom) have AC and comfortable beds. There is a bright and spacious kitchen/dining room/living area with AC, modern kitchen, TV and a dining table; Internet is very good, there is also a BBQ for those who prefer self-catering. The owners Salvatore and Rafaella are charming, welcoming and always ready to help. They had prepared some little sweets (very much appreciated by our children) and delicious fresh bread, fruits and vegetables for our arrival and gave us some advice about local shops and sights to visit. They were always ready to help and responded very quickly to whatever questions we had during our stay. Thank you Salvatore and Rafaella for making us feel at home and making our stay at your house such an enjoyable experience. We would absolutely love to go back to this place in the future.
