Barn Hives Yallingup

It was quaint. It was good how it was your own separate hive. The surrounds were beautiful. Lovely looking at the vineyard and being in amongst the vines. The inside was a great design and very thought out.

Everything really. Our hive was off-grid but had everything we could conceivably want. We really appreciate the thought that had gone into the design of the hive and all the little touches. Sitting out the front by the vines and reading a book in the sun was divine. Instructions & information on the iPad were excellent.

For us, it was perfect.

Beautiful location, very comfy bed!

Our bathroom (Pod 4) was absolutely tiny, making it very difficult to shower without completely soaking the entire toilet/basin area. The couple we were holidaying with had a much larger one - so seems to be different for each pod. Would be a great idea for a large mirror to be put upstairs in the bedrooms - it was really difficult getting ready for a wedding with no room/tiny mirror/minimal light in the bathroom - so this would be a good solution 🙂

We visited Barn Hives as a surprise trip for my partner. The property was well-designed and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a weekend away, including a complimentary bottle of red. We loved the big window with a bench seat in the upstairs bedroom overlooking the vineyard. The BBQ on the deck, pellet heater, and speaker for playing tunes all got plenty of use. The location was fantastic, just off Caves Road and close to some excellent local wineries (Stormflower was our favourite). Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable trip, and we’ll definitely be visiting Barn Hives again.

Not a downside since we ended up enjoying Miki’s Open Kitchen instead, but we had hoped the attached restaurant would be open, as we’d celebrated our anniversary there a couple of years ago.

Eco friendly, high spec design with beautiful materials and finishes. Peaceful and relaxing overlooking the vineyard. Great access to the wine region.

The spider under the stairs and the restaurant being shut, this was one reason we went for this accommodation.

Everything from the outside decor to the interior was just as described and more - Perfect!

None, it was an amazing mini - honeymoon.
