Villa Laurus 6, walking distance to the beach

Absolutely gorgeous villa, spacious, comfortable. The pool was great, someone came to maintain the pool every second day. Aircon was great and an absolute must as it was 34°. Great location - within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. The bus station only a walk away to take you to water parks, the harbour, coral bay etc.

The shower in the en-suite and main bathroom and flooded the bathroom floors, there was a mop provided which came in handy. The waterfalls in the pool didn’t work. There was a big crack down one of the drinking glasses provided. None of these things affected our stay.

Finding the villa was a bit difficult. The sliding patio door was locked and couldn't be opened. The bathroom was not very clean, with dirty glass on the shower door. There were also a few dead bugs in the pool upon our arrival. Many of the towels were not clean. The villa's photos on Booking.com are outdated; the property appeared worn and could use a fresh coat of paint. The location was not ideal; we had to take a bus to reach main areas like the harbour and Coral Bay, despite the listing claiming it was an excellent location. There was little to do in the immediate area. Although it was advertised as a short walk to the beach, the shore was rocky rather than sandy

Accommodation was excellent and perfectly located for the beach, bars and restaurants.

The code to the key box had been changed which was frustrating as we arrived at midnight. The host didn't reply to texts. Basic kitchen essentials were missing, there were no tea towels and dish cloth, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and only 2 half toilet rolls between 3 toilets. These were supplied after a phone message.

Spacious, good location, well kept pool

Signs of wear and tear. Uncomfortable bed. No staff visit/call to check all ok. No mirror in bedroom, bedroom lamp broke, both shower drains don’t work well and pool lights broken. Told all previously reported but no action taken.

A new house with smart house features, good and high quality equipment. A lot of storage space, large rooms.

The pool was not clean, and the owner didn’t manage to solve pool problem at time.

the location was good, very close to shops and the sea, also enjoyed the Sonus music system that was installed in the villa, air conditioning was very good, the beds were very comfortable.

it could have been cleaner, was a little tired in areas, the en-suite shower leaked, we were given the wrong Wi-Fi code, the tv was broken but they replaced it
