"Comfortable Family Getaway"

10.0

Perfect home away from home! Huge TV with Netflix, quality linens and towels, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen with oven, electric stove top, dishwasher, good quality crockery, cutlery, kitchen knives and pots & pans, heating/cooling split system as well as the fire place and bed heaters, generous pantry staples, bread, milk and cereals included. Great seperate bungalow where there is a 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom available for use. There was even a nice outdoor dining area with a BBQ and an outdoor spa and kayaks we didn't get to use on this trip because it was too cold. But overall, we enjoyed our stay. The shack was warm and comfortable, the kids didn't want to leave!

Wish we stayed longer and it was warmer so we could use the spa and kayaks!

"Very clean, quiet, homely. Loved it! Will be back."

10.0

Everything! Spotless! Great facilities. Great size, lots of basics available for our use (to cook with). The comfiest bed during my whole trip. Extra touches made us feel very welcome and ‘at home’.

The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the shower in the back bedroom. It’s very small.

"A quiet retreat"

The little things like access to an iron and washing machine and dryer, along with a pantry stocked with all the needs one could want were just fantastic. The hosts were great.

"Very comfortable near Port Arthur Historical Site"

9.0

The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets and comfortable pillows. Towels were nice. Inside the property was very clean and nicely decorated. The pantry was well stocked and we appreciated the fresh local bread and a decent/ sufficient sized fresh local milk for our duration. Coffee machine was a bonus once we read how to use it. View was nice as was the close location to Port Arthur Historical Site. House was clean and communication was really good. I would be happy to recommend this property to family and friends.

I thought we had the use of house and cottage but it was only the house so only one bathroom (seperate toilet tho) which wasnt as great being 2x couples. Lawn was a bit unruly and could have been mown. Pretty rough maintenance and a couple of unfinished renovationed areas in the house. That being said it was still very comfortable/ well stocked and thoughtfully set out and did not affect our stay in anyway. We would stay here again.

Lovely views. Great amenities. Handy to have a separate bungalow at the back with the separate bedroom and bathroom.

"Home away from home! Everything needed for our comfort was supplied!"

What a great location for visiting Port Arthur. Everything was thought of. We have no complaints. And as a bonus the Wallies came to visit overnight!

All good - no complaints.
