Villa do Monte

Lovely and spacious. Very clean inside. Good location - only 10 minutes into Porto Moniz. Local supermarkets and restaurants too so you don’t have to drive into Porto Moniz for dinner.

Only one thing is that there is no air-con. This didn’t matter too much for us as it wasn’t too hot but imagine in the height of summer it could be a little uncomfortable.

Notre hôte a été très disponible pour la remise des clés il s'est vraiment adapté. Il est très gentil. La maison est bien entretenu et très propre. c'est très calme car la maison est un peu isolée

Unser Vermieter Cezario war super nett. Unser Flieger konnte von München aus wegen technischer Probleme nicht starten und so konnten wir leider erst am nächsten Tag anreisen. Cezario kümmerte sich sofort und informierte Booking.com darüber, dass wir eine Nacht weniger in seiner Villa verbringen würden. Zu unserer Überraschung wurden uns die Kosten für diese eine verlorene Nacht von Booking direkt wieder vergütet. Damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet, überhaupt einen Anspruch auf die Erstattung der Kosten zu haben. Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut, ein großes Lob und Dank an den Vermieter der Villa do Monte und an booking.com! Er war auch jederzeit bei Fragen zu erreichen und hat sich in allen Angelegenheiten sehr nett und zuvorkommend um uns gekümmert. Danke, Cezario! Die schöne Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Best stay ever. The villa was very spacious. It had everything we needed. It was exceptionally clean especially for a big space like that. The owner was communicative and helped us find things to do in our free time. Kitchen was fully equipped so we were cooking a lot. THE VIEW was amazing. The sunset was visible. We were left in awe. Would suggest and would go back there again 100%.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very big and every room is very spatious. Everything was very well maintained and very clean. The kitchen was also equiped with everything you need. There are 2 bathrooms and toilets, with all necessary amenities. The house is located next to a calm road, so no traffic noise and easy to park in front of the gate. It is somewhat out of the center of Santa Maria Madalena, ideal if you (like us) enjoy the calm and quiet rural surroundings. We found the location ideal to explore to North-West side of Madeira. It kept us away from the busier Porto Moniz, but a small 10 minute drive takes you there. It was the ideal place for us to reach Levada Do Risco and 25 Fontes, Fanal Forest, Porto Moniz, Miradouro Dos Pombais & the Adrenaline Adventure Zipline. In Santa Maria Madalena are some good eating places, so you don't have to go to Porto Moniz during short stays. We can recommend the take-out Armando (at 1.2km) and the excellent restaurant Portus Villa (that opened about a month ago at 2.4km), that we even visited twice. The host was very friendly and quick to respond if you have any questions.

Телевізор чомусь постійно вимикався. Але який тут телевізор як навколи така краса))

La maison est vraiment grande et très belle, elle est très bien équipée, confortable et l’hôte est vraiment adorable. Il s’est même proposé de me renvoyer en France la peluche que mon fils a oublié.
