"Wonderful stay in beautiful Franschhoek"

We loved everything! Ané met us and we were welcomed with a cheese platter and chilled bottle of wine. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Garden with the different spots to chill and enjoy the views is wonderful.

"lovely house and perfect location to get into town solar power also which was a godsend with the power cut"

Beautiful House and gardens Lovely and airy, bedding & pillows lovely and good quality. Host was wonderful and nothing was to much trouble wine & cheese was in fridge ready for our arrival which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend and return also solar power which was amazing with the power cuts.

"Great house, super-friendly hosts, lovely location."

Very spacious, well designed house with everything we needed. Solar power and inverters ensured that we were not affected by load-shedding (frequent electricity cuts in SA) Ané is so friendly and helpful, and she provided a wonderful cheese platter plus essential food, kitchen and bathroom supplies. I can highly recommend staying here.

"Great stay overall, pity about the outside"

The house is beautiful, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the decor, linen, comfy beds. We had a great stay. The friendly hostess was there to greet us and explained everything on arrival.

Unfortunately the outside wasn't cleaned in probably a few days, the patio set wasn't clean with spiderwebs on most of the chairs. The barbeque was not cleaned in a long time and the grid was still filthy from previous uses.

"The Villa is a delightful, spacious Villa near to Frankschhoek Village with all of its amenities."

The location and the space and the lovely furnishings at the Villa. The gardens are very pretty and there were plenty of seating areas. Ane was very helpful and friendly and we felt happy that we could text or call her if we needed any advice or help. The Villa was very clean and we would be very happy to stay there again when we come to Frankschhoek. There was a gas hob and solar panelling which was great when there was load shedding.

It would have been good to have a swimming pool. There is a small pool but only for dipping in - too small to swim in. Padded loungers would have been good as we needed to keep putting cushions on the loungers which kept slipping off.
