The pool is the absolute forte point. Combined with the Pool house it quickly became the focus point of spending time in the afternoon hot Corfu sun. The Grill was the next point on the great list. It is superbly located in the shade for the afternoon sun, with great ventilation so that even when you use it you do not feel that it becomes too hot, even in the hot Corfu evenings.

The living room had some water infiltration that the owners said it started to happen in the same year we visited, because of some repair that was needed for the upstairs balcony. He said it would be fixed at season's end. The trash management was bad as the organic waste was not collected often enough and in the Corfu heat it started to smell rather fast. We ended up tacking it out ourself, but the the nearest garbage can was several hundred meters away. Worst was the toilet bin disposal management. Because the pluming on the island is problematic, we were told to throw the paper in the bathroom bin. The bin was changed similar as the garbage. Our expectation was that this would be cleaned at least every other day, so in the beginning, before we understood the process, we waited tor 4 days before tacking it out ourselves.
