Nefeli Villas

We had the most amazing time in this villa! The host Irene was there to meet us with the keys and explained everything about the villa. She helped us when we had any questions. Lovely lady. We were arriving early on the ferry from Athens, and she was very kind to let us into the property early as no one had been staying the previous night. This meant we could just pick up the hire car and head to the villa to relax. Same on the way back to Athens on the evening ferry - we had the whole of the last day at the villa which made things a lot easier for us. Very kind of her. The vila itself was outstanding, very clean, comfortable and such an amazing location. We woke up to beautifel views over the sea, then went down and relaxed by the heated pool (which was a bonus and very welcome in October!). The villa is very close to the old town Hersonissos which was a very short stroll away. Lots of lovely restaurants and taverns to eat and a bakery, small mini market. The bigger supermarkets are down the road about a 5 min drive. There is parking next to the villa. The villa was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay as a family of 4. We stayed in the Blue villa and although its next to the green villa, clever trees and shrubs make it feel like you are miles away from anyone!. Pool side was great - lots of seating options and a hammock! Pool and pool area kept very clean and during our week stay, the pool guy cleaned the pool and the cleaner came and changed sheets, towels etc. We would absolutly come back to this villa and recomend it to our friends!

Rauhallinen sijainti. Huoneisto oli siisti. Huoneistoissa viilentimet jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa ja oleskelutilassa. Ystävällinen palvelu ja tarvittaessa sai apua omistajalta. Siivous oli puolessa välissä lomaa, jolloin myös saatiin uudet puhtaat pyyhkeet ja petivaatteet, altaan puhdistus 2x viikossa.

Uuni kinttaat (patalappu) puuttuivat, hankala saada kuuma pelti pois uunista pelkällä pyyhkeellä. Paistinpannun voisi uusia, itse emme sitä kuitenkaan tarvinneet.

Perfect location a few minutes walk from old Hersonissos with lovely places to eat and really friendly staff. Villa was perfect for our family with two adult children, the pool was very much appreciated in the heat. Hersonissos strip is only a 20 minute walk but also easy to get a taxi. The owner Irene is really lovely and left us a few supplies which was a lovely touch. We would all love to come back!

Exceptional location- it's a really lovely villa set on a quiet olive tree covered hillside but also a very short walk to amenities with plenty of places to eat and drink. Pool is heated, and large enough to splash about in. Villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The host, Irene, is simply amazing and nothing was too much trouble.

If we had to be critical, we agree that some of the decor feels a little worn and tired - specifically the main bathroom and the kitchen and it could do with a few new utensils, too. This didnt detract from the experience, but a bit of a refresh inside would make it feel as nice as it does outside.

The villa was clean, spacious, and very private, offering everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, with a charming local atmosphere. Our hostess, Irene, was incredibly nice and friendly, always caring and responsive to our needs. We appreciated the convenience of a nearby minimarket and a few cozy restaurants within walking distance, and it was just a short drive to the lively downtown area with larger supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and the picturesque seafront. The heated pool was a fantastic bonus, and our kids were thrilled with it! We’d gladly return for another memorable stay. Thank you, Irene.

The only area for improvement was the Wi-Fi coverage, which wasn’t strong on the second level, and the internet connection overall could be more robust.

Irene the owner was most accommodating in everything we needed. The villa is exactly as it seems in the pictures, clean and beautiful, there is a nice view from the balcony, all bedrooms have closets for your clothes, the kitchen is fully equipped to cook almost like at home and it was comfortable for us, the pool was exactly what we wanted. The villa has everything you need, including a washing machine and an ironing board, and for the children Irene even brought games and lego. The villa is 5 min walk from Hersonissos old town, where you can find local shops and restaurants. We will definitely recommend the villa to our friends and will return the next time we're in Crete.

Lovely Villa in a great location near the old town. Having a pool was brilliant and the kids especially loved it and can now swim. Beach is a short drive away so it ticked a lot of boxes.
