Great location by the beach in the middle of the village and spacious house with nice pool.

Restaurants closed very early.

The beach is located right in front of the house, but you would have to cross the road to get to the beach. It is a very impressive house. What we like: 1. Location : It is located on the quiet part of the area (Sam Roi Yod) 2. Facilities: We like the huge living room area and the full kitchen facilities. The living room is huge with lots of sofas. We loved the huge living room. 3. Pool: The pool is great, right in front of the house and it was cleaned on the first morning of our stay (we stayed for 2 nights). 4. Recreation: There is a tennis court (which we didn't use) and snooker table (which we fully enjoyed). 5. Contact: The owner replies within a day. However, on my arrival at the house, I didn't see anyone and the owner did not answer when I called. The housekeeper was in the back and came to greet me after seeing me looking around the house.

There are what I think could be improved: 1. On the first floor, there is 3 bedrooms but 2 bedrooms have to share a common bathroom. These 2 rooms can sleep 7 people and only 1 bathroom to share among 7 people. 2. The kitchen and dinning room is on the 2nd floor. Would prefer it on the first floor so that we don't have to carry our groceries upstairs. And if you use the kitchen and utensils, you have to clean and put everything away (There is no dishwasher). 3. The air conditioners are quite old and with the heat, it is not cold. The air-conditioners are not strong enough to cool the huge area of the dining and snooker table area. 4. There are ceiling fans but the fans are connected to the ceiling light, which means you have to turn both on regardless whether you need both of them. 5. In one of the bedroom on the first floor, the ceiling fan/light is very shaky . We didn't turn on the fan at night because we were afraid that it might fall on us while sleeping. 6. In the shared bathroom, there is only the sink and no tabletop area to put toiletries. 7. Furnitures are quite old and beddings could do with new blankets, pillows and sheets.
