We loved Megalokhori and the style of the apartment was great - like a little cave, with a gorgeous courtyard.

The hot tub was broken and not heated on our stay and the mattress was a little uncomfortable. We did recieve a 20% refund on the hot tub not being heated.

- the location in the village of Megalochori was very pretty - the character and atmosphere of the house was unique - the staff were very friendly and accommodating - we liked the sauna

- the floors were dirty and surfaces dusty - some of the furniture was broken - the mosquitoes were bad in the upper floor, and there were no screens on the windows, and there was an old chimney in the bathroom which let in mosquitoes and bird poo - we were unable to cook in the kitchen - the coffee pot was broken, we did ask for a new one but they gave us another nespresso machine which we did not have capsules for

It was just so secluded and relaxing yet just steps from the main square for restaurants, winery and view points, the Family bakers was a few mins up the road for a great breakfast. Staff delightful and could not hope for a more relaxing start to our holiday.

Property was gorgeous. Within walking distance of the town square. Little private pool was great to cool down in, and the privacy of the villa was nice.

A little out of the way of major city centre, but easy enough to get around by public bus.

Excellent accommodation and a walk to a lovely bakery and restaurant. Has a lovely view point near by. Host was really nice and made sure we were all settled and answered any questions we had.j
