Sea Views at villa Anemomylos with Heated Pool, Ping Pong and Tennis

A wonderful place for a large family's vacation. The house is huge, the pools are great, the location is incredibly peaceful, and the view is breathtaking. The hosts are exceptionally caring, friendly, and always ready to help. I would gladly return.

The owners are wonderful, welcoming people. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were a group of 4 families so the 4 separate apartments was the perfect arrangement. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Then there is the view. I could have sat on the terrace all day long just staring at it. All Andrea's local suggestions were excellent, especially the local Taverna for sunset. We also used the in villa catering service for a Crete night menu. With some quiet local beaches only 15mins away this villa.has it all and only 30 mins from Heraklion. We would all stay again in a heartbeat but for longer than 1 week!

We recently celebrated our wedding at Villas Anemomilos and couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, Andreas made us feel completely at home. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, we were welcomed with fresh eggs, vegetables, bread, and delicious croissants — such a thoughtful and personal touch that made our stay even more special. The rooms were spotless, the views were stunning, and the pools were large and beautifully maintained. Communication with Andreas was always friendly and prompt, which made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free. The best hosts ever in a beautiful and spacious Villa in a great location. Easy drive from the airport, 10 minutes drive for groceries and the beach and there's even a local Taverna a few minutes down the road. There was enough room for our families to each have their own space but with plenty of common spaces to hang out together. The playroom is great for kids and adults alike. There's a big bbq/dining room/kitchen area which we enjoyed for most of our meals. The hosts are the best! The whole family was there to make a perfect stay for their guests. They were extremely accommodating with our early/late flight schedule, and communication before and during our stay was super-easy and always in good spirits. They kept spoiling us with fresh pastries, eggs, fruit and vegetables, and also made sure the common areas are kept clean throughout our stay. The views from the Villa are breathtaking - don't miss the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. Hopefully we can make it back one day!

A great Villa in the mountains above Agia Pelagia. We were a large group (17) and we had enough space with some to spare. Each apartment (out of 4) has its own equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher & more + another equipped kitchen in the common area with all the above + barbeque equipment. There are also laundry machines in some of the apartments. Everything was very clean. The view from the pool and balconies is amazing. Agia Palegia has a nice beach with restaurants about 10 minutes drive away. The owners where available for questions and requests by phone when needed.

Not so much as didn't like but things that are important to note: You have to have a rental car if you plan to come here, nothing is in walking distance and I'm not sure how easy it is to get a cab. It's in a rural area in the mountains. Stock up before you come, the nearest large supermarket is in Heraklion (>20 minutes drive), there are some small supermarkets and restaurants in Agia Pelagia (10 minutes drive). The pool water can be cold at times (we were in a very warm week, almost 40C (104F), so it was okay, but if you are coming at a different time, make arrangements in advance to have the pool heated).

1. The host - Antreas and his father are exceptionally responsive and caring prior and during the stay. They do their best to make you feel good and enjoy it all. They are unique and rare and I wish to always have such hosts when traveling. 2. Facilities are great. Beautiful, clean and well maintained. All of the apartments are well equipped and especially the main kitchen which is a special bonus for those who love to cook in different methods. Pools are great though waters a little cold in October ;) Wi-Fi was good. 3. Location is good, great view and 10 mins drive to the beach.
