Kubu Penida Villa

It’s really good for the money you pay and next to diamond beach.

The villa was great value for money and a nice cosy retreat in a quiet area but close to the diamond and atuh beaches (15 min walk). Some local restaurants around but recommend having your own moped or be prepared to pay for taxis if you want to explore the rest of the island.

There was no WiFi in the room, you have to go to the restaurant, which is okay but a good to know. Unfortunately the room wasn't always the cleanest due its natural surroundings but the staff would be attentive if you are proactive about it.

I was expecting that the reception they will stay 24/7 😅 the cottage design is really nice but staying alone in this cottage no one there and inside the nature it was horrible, i was really scared i thought that there are so many cottages or neighbors … i didn’t sleep only few minutes i slept … i have spent the night killing spiders and aunts … you should be careful it is a wooden cottage so can expect everything… to see snakes, spiders , lizards and it was windy & rainy night so some rain drops are coming … i killed to big spiders were on my bed. I was really scared alone … only on cottage next to me … the lights are not bright… i was scared to use the toilet in the night 😅 . It is nice location close to Diamond beach but i advise u to book this cottage as a group… because i feel it was like a ghost house lonely

Not much - the pictures look great, but there isn't much around, the bed linen was stained. Because the bathroom is open bugs are rife. Nice concept, not great execution. The food made us sick, and was insanely pricey, thankfully there was a restaurant down the road with far better quality and prices! When we left we booked a taxi through then that did not arrive, luckily the host fixed this by driving us himself- but we did almost miss our boat.

Nice wood cottage to stay a night.

The rooms were beyond expectation, clean and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful.
