Kubu Penida Villa

They arranged a pick up service from the port and to the port and that was very useful! They received us very well with a welcome drink and the check in was made by the staff at the restaurant. Location is absolutely amazing! We`ve got the chance to visit Diamond beach at sunrise on both days we spent there because it is really close. The food is great - all we tried we liked. They rented us a motorbike and that was also very useful. A nice stay overall.

We liked the stay and the room was as expected but some things to consider: - The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can hear geckos and other animals while trying to sleep, which is not exactly a problem that you can blame on anyone, but still can be annoying. After we came back from a stroll on diamond beach we noticed what we believe to be gecko's poop on our bed, I really believe that was unfortunate, and not something that would occur very often (place was completely locked when we left). - The shower drain was not at his best, the area was getting flooded with our own shower water, which would eventually vanish with time, but still that was a bit annoying. - The room was at most well cleaned but we would like to add that this aspect could be improved, the place is amazing and if 100% clean would have made our stay even better.

Very clean and well maintained. Close by to diamond beach. Plenty of restaurants and little shops. Lima Hotel 5mins down the road allows you to use there pool if food or drink is brought, which is great if you are there more than 1 day.

Whilst we don't mind noises from the wildlife in the surrounding area and the ghekos. You can hear rats on the bathroom roof. Emptying our bins over the wall and lighting them on fire is also not doing nusa penida any good, this island is already highly polluted.

The location of these villas / bungalows are a walking distance to Diamond Beach and the tree house where you can get a gorgeous view of the sunrise at East Nusa Pineda. The property’s room design had a warm cosy ambience. The open air bathroom was also nice. It had a facilities like kettle, coffee, tea, sugar. The property has a restaurant where you can get all your meals from. It is also near other cafes and restaurants in the area and across from a small convenience store. So food will not be a problem. Great for a quieter stay away from the busier parts of Nusa Penida and main tourist areas of Bali.

Since it is rural, it had all the droplets from the bugs, insects and lizards and sometimes these are found on the bed. You will need to ask staff to change sheets if too much of these and you are bothered. The outlets at the tea and coffee sitting area was too far or too high for the electric cord of the kettle to reach. I ended up plugging the kettle at the bedside table to heat water. Other than that, it was all good for 2 nights stay.

The food was good! The rooms can be improved by adding in tv and more facilities but otherwise it was amazing! Would definitely recommend.

the location, the cleanliness and the staff as well as the value for money

I booked for three people but when we arrived there were only two beds. they said I had to specifically ask for another bed even though the booking was for three. To be fair it was in the terms but strange you need to ask for enough beds for the amount of people you are booking for …

To noise in the night, some animals make loud sounds all nighrs

The villa’s beautiful. There’s also a restaurant nearby, so food will not be a problem.
