Modern Pool Villa Dalaa 7

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dalaa and will definitely return. The location is nestled nicely within the village of Kamala, but only a few mins away from the beach on a moped. The villas are beautiful, immaculately clean, quiet, and very private. Alam was always on hand to sort out anything that you might want to do (e.g., rent a moped, book trips) and is a superstar. We found it very interesting talking to Frank (the owner) about how he built the resort, his ethos for it, the whole design approach. He was also very happy to recommend restaurants in the area, all of which were great recommendations. A special mention has to go to Sona, who is the chef in the resort restaurant. The quality and taste of her food was quite simply some of the best that we had whilst we were in Thailand!!! Truly authentic, freshly cooked, good-sized portions & very reasonably priced. We stayed at a number of 5 Star hotels on Phuket, Phi Phi & Koh Lanta, whilst we were in Thailand, and Sona's food was easily as good as all of their restaurants, if not better. Thank you to all of the staff at Dalaa - can't wait to go back.

we stayed in the 3 bedroom Villa for 12 days, the Villa was clean and modern and the staff are super friendly and helpful, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner frank who is from Germany originally and is really down to earth and genuine. Alam the care taker was a massive help and always very happy to help with scooter hire or booking tours etc:) Kamala is beautiful and a very family friendly place if your looking to stay out of the hustle and bustle of patong, there is also quite a few small bars etc close by to the villa - approx 1km and plenty of restaurants near by that you have delivered to your villa which is convenient. laundry facilities available on site for a fee and there is also plenty of laundry places close by in Kamala that wash iron and fold your clothing. i would suggest using joe boonlip VanVip on Facebook for transfers and everyday taxi needs he is much cheaper than using tuk tuks and is more than happy to negotiate a cheap price, joe speaks English and lives locally so he knows all the places to visit he is so lovely. joe will literally drive you around all day and wait for you at each destination, he also uses WhatsApp etc, let him know Amber recommended you from Australia :)

I would suggest a scooter if you don’t want to rely on taxis or do the approx 1km to the strip of local shops in Kamala, the beach is also approx 2kms away but has a good amount of restaurants, stalls and local food. Patong and Bangla road is approx 25mins away

The host and Alam where excellent. They helped us settle in and anything we needed was provided. A truly beautiful villa with private pool, completed to a very high finish.
