Duneden Cottage and Grounds

This very sweet cottage is located in a beautiful rural setting. We had the cottage to ourselves, but the host who lives in her home on the property was very accessible but not in the slightest bit invasive. Aside from being a very pleasant accommodation, our host was extremely friendly, charming, and helpful in providing things to do and places to eat. There were some very nice touches that were particularly special, including a welcome basket of homemade treats, and some basic food supplies for our stay.

I have nothing negative to say. In my opinion, everything was perfect.

Tranquil, spacious well equipped property. The host here is fabulous. Responsive and helpful going well beyond our expectations. The wicker welcoming basket containing homemade treats was a thoughtful touch. Excellent layout for two couples with a good kitchen. Good location offering a unique experience. The most wonderful weekend! Such a beautiful cottage with all the trimmings. Booked last minute with my son and my friend and they made it so special. The surroundings are stunning, tennis court, basket ball court and archery available on your doorstep at no cost. The owner came to check on us and even got a little visit from her beautiful dog Juno. We also brought the cat who had a very relaxing weekend too. Will be back!

Absolutely nothing, was perfect!

I can guarantee that your stay at Duneden will exceed all expectations! The cottage was a home away from home and our whole family made use of the amenities available! The tennis court was a huge plus and was the only thing that really got us out of the comfort of the cottage! The location is excellent with the village only 3-5 mins of a drive/10 min walk away. We really appreciated how dog friendly the home was as well! But the best thing about it all was the hospitality of the hosts. Mark greeted us as soon as we got there and gave us a tour of the cottage, making sure we had everything we needed. Allie came to say hello the next day and was so friendly and approachable! Couldn't have asked for better hosts 😊 Thank you Duneden for having us (and thank you for the delicious homemade cupcakes and bread!!!) ❤️

The host is very welcoming and kind. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. all of Duneden surroundings are beautiful. The children enjoyed all the games provided. My son loved the basketball court and the ps4! We was able to fully relax. Thank you for our homemade treats and complimentary items in the fridge everything you need and more is provided. Lovely stay, Allie was so helpful. Cosy cottage with all amenities and beautiful grounds to enjoy, highly recommended. Our Labrador retriever was extremely impressed too. 10/10.
