Villa de Leeu, Perfect for Two

Beautiful, spacious accommodation in the bush that is perfect for a couple. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Also, the regular visits from various species of antelope and warthogs were a highlight.

The bed is a bit too hard for our liking, but that is personal preference. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about.

Exceptional hosts that accommodated us on a very short notice on a Sunday. The place is stunning, comfortable and was very clean.

If you accidentally press red button, you can be fined. Will pay for cleaning service but there were none.

Most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Lovely interior. Fantastic shower. It literally is perfect for two. We had a wonderful time 😊

Some comfortable outside furniture would make a MASSIVE improvement because this is generally where you spend most of your time. The inventory list on the fridge did not match up with what was in the kitchen, lots of items are missing.

We enjoyed the property very much. The house manager and the owner were very communicative about everything , the place is very secluded which is what we wanted . The house was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. They catered to our every need .

What we didn’t like is that we were not told about how bad the road is to get to the house . It would’ve been nice if the owner and the house manager alerted us that there is gravel and it would be advisable to drive with a heavy duty car , e.g: a bakkie or 4x4.

I love everything about this property. The location is perfect for a bush treat.

There’s absolutely nothing.

It is a very nice clean and well equipped little place with everything you would need for a get away. -I am not a fan of the heat and it can get hot there but there is a really effective aircon system positioned above the bed as well as ceiling fans mounted around the unit. -The kitchen is relatively well equipped for basic cooking (pots, pans, cutlery and crockery). A gas cooker would have been the perfect addition. -Nice bathroom set up with a toilet, basin and a really nice shower. -The braai and splash pool are nice. We never used the pool though but its still nice to have nonetheless. -There is no TV there which makes for a better trip in my opinion. You don't go away to sit and watch TV. -There are two little " shopping centers" nearby that have what you need. A butchery, general store, bottle store, fuel station etc. -The manager that I was in contact with is also a complete gem and was always friendly and willing to assist whenever and however she could. Its really easy to find the location. Its super close to the Crocodile bridge gate which is also nice. The area also seemed to be quite safe too!

-Some kind of back up power system would have been nice because there was a power issue in the area that started the night before we left and carried on through until we left the last day. Obviously the blackout was unavoidable and not under the owners/managements control.

The apartment is very nice and new. Extremely clean and full catered kitchen. The bed is big and very confortable. The design is beautiful. The area is very safe, it is a bit isolated and animals get come close.

I understand the power cuts but for this budget a generator is expected to keep one fan one light and if possible the fridge.
