The Corner of Dreams - Pool - Parking - Rural

No heating/ac downstairs, heater in terrace/bbq area no gas, 3 rooms 1 bathroom 1 toilet, electric kept tripping, socket in sitting room hanging with bare wires (only socket to plug tiny heater), water leaks in bbq area having to keep mopping, coffee machine no filters. Not even a corkscrew (in Spain!) Corner of dreams? Corner of nightmares... 2 guests left after 1st night as unbearable. Took video only photo is plug and heater. Only happy when we left, worse place i have been to

The bed (in the master) was comfortable. They had Showergel. Quiet place. Really nice communication with host. A lot of places to sit etc. You can’t really see the ocean it’s pretty far. But sunrise and -set looks beautifull from the house. Heating in the bedrooms inside the house. If you want to be between the locals restaurant El Rinconcito is walking distant and has a warm vibe.

The house is in the mountains. From the airport 37 min, most of the time driving uphill with a lot of turns. We landed at 16:40. We entered the house at 21:20 :(. We entered the adres Los Callejones 3 that’s stated aa the adress. The gps sends us to Los Callejones 5 ( a house close to the property but you can’t reach the house with the car through the adres Los Callejones. First we needed to check in individualy (we were a group) and then searched for the house. After contacting the host we got pictures with instructions. But I guess we were all too tired after the traveling and couldnt solve it. After asking around in the neighbourhood we found the house. It’s really hard to find in the dark :(. We needed 4 rooms, and expected 3 bathrooms ( so almost 1 bathroom per room and two rooms share a bathroom. Well in the house there are 3 bedrooms (4 bed) the other room is accessable from outside through a closed patio, a bar space etc. So you’ll be sleeping far away from everyone else. This room had a bathroom. Theres an open outside shower by the pool and inside the house with the 3 rooms there is 1 bathroom with a shower. And toilet downstairs aswell. The worst thing from our stay was unfortunateley the amount of mold in the shower :(! Downstairs, living room and kitchen really cold ( they provided heaters but the room stayed cold). There was 1 remote for the airconditioning/heater system in the 3 rooms.

The house was very comfortable and big. Nice garden and pool. Beds very comfortable. Everything that we needed was there ! The view over the mountains was excellent. It was a nice and quiet location, perfect for our holiday.

It was very difficult to find at night time when we arrived, the location address on google maps is not correct. The road leading to the villa is very narrow , difficult to drive in.

Quietness

Nearly everything had mice in the property had to throw a lot off food away also no local shops no local cabs very cold hot water kept turning off

The location & views were lovely. The beds were comfortable & there was enough space for a family group.

The kitchen was not well equipped eg not enough cutlery for more than 4 people. There was no welcome book of information about the house or local area. eg it took a long time to find light switches, where to buy firewood etc It was very cold in the downstairs rooms in February- the 2 small electrical devices found in a cupboard did not work or provide any heat. The online checking in process was extremely difficult & stressful- it felt like the Corner of Nightmares before we arrived!
