Amazon Villas

Comfortable, vintage-style 2-bedroom villa, very clean, parking, lovely pool. fantastic staff particularly Martha, who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. great proximity to most of the best areas on the island (Soufriere, Botanical gardens, Sulfur springs, Sugar Beach, Hummingbird, Anse Chastenet, Gros Piton, Tet Paul trail, rainforest hiking …)

Fond St Jacques is a little more rainy & cool than other areas as it’s in the mountains/rain forest and while only 15 min from most places we wanted to go (so overall a great location) driving required significant care, especially at night (tight turns/narrow roads/potholes)

I loved the seclusion of being in the rainforest. I liked having the pool there to cool off in. It was a perfect size just for myself, and if my wife was with me, we both could still be comfortable. The location is great. 10-20 minutes to all the local attractions.

On the island, it is a courtesy to honk your horn when driving into a turn to warn any walkers or other drivers. The villa is just at a said turn. The honks start early. If you are not an early riser, this could be an issue.

location in booking is not correctly indicated, therefore it was challenging to find, especially as we arrived late during the night.

The swimming pool area

The appartment living area was a little cramped.. The kitchen didn't need two sinks in such a small area.

Bed was super soft n amazing ...the pool was warm for 7 am swim , it was a little noisey in the morning but slept awsomeeeeeee

The noise from neighbour's...everyone was cutting grass or doing some construction

the staff are fantastic,,,,, very polite & helpful .. great customer skills & it helps they are from the area so advice on where to eat & drink places to sightsee are second nature to them because they are locals,,,,,, pool is clean & the property is a good size, rooms are spacious & have everything you need (good quality appliances) & huge bed... good wifi (free) also the bathroom is neat & tidy the host also arranges transport so alleviates the hassle you may have when going on tours/airport pickup etc
