"It's NOT what it looks like"

Nice pool and garden Friendly staff at the villa

(1) There is NO AIRCON - and it kills everything. Be ready for +30 inside the villa (2) Owners are extremely stingy and answer to inquires in a very formal way without any intention to help. Look at the pics to understand what temperature you should expect at the villa. The owners way to manage it are cheap fans that are "given without extra payment" and mobile aircons are "too expensive [to give them to the guests]" (these are quotes from the chat) (3) Cheap, old, and rusty appliances at the villa. Look at the pics to see them I'd recommend canceling your booking if you still have time or engage booking.com for help with cancelation in advance if it's not free anymore. Another question is 4* rating by booking - will challenge booking for it separately.

"Superb villa for the large group vacations"

Villa Marila locates in a walking distance from a small village called Pietramelara. It is a very large villa with pool. The size, amenities and the design serves perfectly very large group. It has superb kitchen and a large dining area both inside and outside. Hence, it facilitates preparation of meals for a large group (using the local superb incredients, including amazing buffalo mozzarella). Everything is shining clean! Villa has a beautiful large and well-maintained garden with wine and olive trees. Pool is large, clean and sunny. The area is famous of its mozzarella production. Within a driving distance one has several small mozzarella dairies and you get the genuine fresh ones (made in the same morning). There are several food stores within 2 km distance. Nearest tiny shopping mall is 1 km only. Area is quiet, villages are small and cozy. People are super nice and helpful, although only few speaks English fluently. You may spend some time in Pietramelara and Riardo villages strolling narrow cozy streets and see medieval castles. In addition, mountains start almost next door and provide hiking routes. Napoli is one hour driving distance. Hosts are very helpful and guide you to local restaurants, shops, etc. The communication is precise and prompt.

Villa lacks wifi and 4g signal is weak. Both of these are beyond the control of hosts. But you do not travel there to work! You still have connection to book restaurants, find information, etc.
