The Riverstone House

We've just returned from the most incredible stay at this stunning accommodation. Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Witzenberg Mountains, it's a nature lover's paradise. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, including the serene dam vista where you can watch tilapia jumping out of the water, worked in perfect harmony to soothe my mind, body, and soul. The accommodation itself is immaculately presented, with every amenity and comfort carefully thought out. What's more, it's dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. But what truly sets this place apart is its unique setting on a working farm, complete with blueberry tunnels that invite exploration. If you're seeking a place to restore your sense of calm and connection to nature, look no further. This place is truly special.

Two days just weren't enough.....

The Famtin is a beautiful, modern and well equiped home in a gorgeous setting. A summer visit for a longer period would be awesome.

Unfortunately Eskom struck so there was no water and eventually no electricity so we all had an early night, lol, but that would apply to the whole area and is not the fault of the host. Candice kindly sent bottled water to tide us over so we survived.

There were lots of flies, and nothing to prevent of stop them

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverstone. The house is so well equipped, the scenery is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back!!

The accommodation was lovely and the location within earshot of the river was marvelous.

Nothing really, we had no reason to complain about anything.
