Villa Isla Dorada

The area was silent. The view is amazing. Nice walk along the ocean to have nic breakfast in Mango restaurant. Walking distance to the small grocery stores. Cleaning during our stay was nice surprise. Owners son took case of us, managed everything. We were happy. Drinking water suply was great!

Pool is not heated, we havent used it. Some more kitchen utensiles would be great.

The villa is nice, you will be sharing the pool.

The shower is extremely weak and in both bathroom you have little water coming out. It was raining and tons of water went all the way inside the kitchen.

Very nice clean and comfortable. Having the pool was a plus, but not sure if it would be for everybody since you do share it with another guest.

Slightly hard to find with very little reception on the island in some places. Bathroom shower has could be upgraded.

Overall the villa is nice. But some things need improvement. The sliding doors are hard to open. The gas igniter want working. The showers water flow is extremely weak. Location requires transportation

Everything! I want this property to be our go to from now on. It’s amazing. It’s actually better in person then the pictures advertised. Zero issues. Owners answer questions and respond immediately.

Great location on the quiet side of the island. Beautiful view and within walking distance of eateries and a small beach. The staff were very helpful assisting us with golf cart hire and transfers.

The pool was a little murky on the first day but quickly remedied.

Electricity went out all over island for several hours, but no one could have foreseen that.

The villa and facilities were lovely and the rooms were big with comfortable beds. We were provided with enough filtered water for our 4 day stay and enjoyed using the pool.

We weren't aware that the pool is in fact shared between two villas on the premises, I was under the impression that this was a private villa and pool. Looking more closely into the FAQs I can see that this is mentioned, but at first glance it's not advertised anywhere as a shared pool, which was quite disappointing. The villa manager (Abdiel) arrived late to check us in, though we had provided ample notice of our ferry's arrival time to the island. We rented a buggy from him on one of the days, which he was also late in providing to us. We requested a taxi to pick us up from the villa, which is in a nice location for good restaurants but far from all else, but the taxi never arrived. We felt it was better to arrange our transportation ourselves after this. During our stay there was a large storm, knocking the power out from half of the island for around 12 hours. Though this is of course out of anyone's control, it was very difficult to sleep without any aircon, lights or running water, but they did come to the villa to provide a large torch which was useful.
