Beautiful view! Lovely pool! Loved the animals!

The only thing was a drain smell in the mornings.

Like the furniture, the ambiance gives one a home feeling. The outdoor pool with the animals visiting. The fireplace ♥️

It's not liking but a suggestion of more comfortable chairs for reading or for the pool.

"Beautiful place"

8.0

The place is exactly how you see it on pictures, even with loadshedding the wifi stays on so you don't get bored. I really liked the place and there were alot of animals that came to visit us

The window was left open and a monkey got in and we couldn't close the window, we were a little scared of what can come in and the pool was dirty but no other complaints would definitely come back here over and over again.

"Overall the stay was lovely, but could do with some improvements."

8.0

The whole place is just fabulous ! Really well set up with every amenity one needs and love the fact that there was a ceiling in place of thatch. Lovely newly styled home. Great that no house keys were required, very convenient.

The pool is chlorinated- the animals tend to drink from it. I would suggest a salination cleaning system instead, it's not poisonous. Bird and Bushbaby feeders - there is currently nowhere to attract these beautiful animals. The feed put out for them is eaten by the bigger animals. A higher set tray needs to be provided in the trees or perhaps on a feeding pole of sorts. Need for air-conditioning in the main kitchen / living area. There's little ventilation which really makes it hot ! The front door is very loose, so even with the smart lock on it, with a lot of wind, the door bangs and moves around. We had to put heavy bags of wood against it to secure it. Bug meshing on the windows required - at least the windows could be opened for ventilation. Trellidoor required across the large patio glass door - lack of security.

"Modern, comfortable villa in the bush"

8.0

Beautiful house in the bush. Clean and modern. Great shower, comfy beds, lovely pool and braai area. Lots of game milling around. We have been to Marloth Park 5x and this was the first time we saw giraffe (and everyday and very close to the house). The fire pit area had 2 concrete benches (not like the wooden chairs on the pictures) but still perfectly suitable. Sheldon was a great and very communicative host.

The only thing I can say is that the house is close to the main road so you often see cars and buses driving past. Killed the "bush vibe" a bit for me. This was mostly during the day though. Night time was very peaceful and quiet though.

"Ok for a stop over or as base for daily Kruger visits."

8.0

Cooking isle in kitchen Everything was clean. Sofa and bed comfortable. We saw ward hogs, impalas, monkeys and zebras in the garden. Pool was clean. Maybe a bit too chloric.

Power outage for more than 14h. Shedding + local problems Had to ask for laundry drying rack. Only 50m away from main street. You can hear the traffic clearly. Surrounding garden consists of “dry trees growing on dust”. Ok it was dry season in winter. You have to hide everything in and out the house from baboons. They will try to break into the house. We saw ants in the kitchen. There is no nice walk along the river.
