Skales Villas

The pool is amazing! We spent most of our holiday in the pool. I was surprised there wasn’t a net for cleaning bugs and leaves out, but soon realised the pool cleans itself as the water level is right at the top of the pool. The water was so clean and not at all cold (we were there during July heatwave). My family got bored of me saying how lovely the pool is!! 1.35m deep in deep end so perfect depth for swimming and playing. The garden is huge and has the most delightful olive trees and flowering bushes - a real little oasis. Good location, just a 1-2 min drive to supermarket and shops, with lots of restaurants just a little further along the road. We didn’t walk as it was 38C but it would be walking distance. 10 minute walk to a very nice beach - mostly sandy, some stones. Nice, relaxed beach bar there playing classic tunes, nothing too hectic. The location was great for us as we didn’t want to be anywhere too busy. The villa itself is charming. We loved the quiet air conditioning in the bedrooms, and the crisp white sheets and comfortable beds and pillows. The villa felt very secure. Fly nets on all doors and windows was also great. The washing machine and large clothes airer were useful. Thank you Alkis for being so responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful holiday!

Really nothing much to say here as we loved our stay, but I suppose the bathrooms are slightly dated, e.g shower head a little wobbly, but we fixed it ourselves and really can’t complain as there was plenty of hot water, which is more important. The villa felt lovely and authentic and had everything we needed so I would highly recommend it.
