Villa CostaMare - enjoy lazy days on the private Pool-Jacuzzi

Amazing property with all you require for a fantastic holiday, great location and superb hosts.

Great host and easy to contact for any questions. Villa and pool were excellent and just like the photos (no clever photography!). We had a great time would highly recommend.

Main road into centre of the village did not have a footpath - at times the traffic was busy and we were constantly on edge about walking on the road.

The Villa was perfect for 2 families, bedrooms are all big and the outside space was amazing!

The size of the property, pool, facilities and outside dining area were perfect for our family group of 7. The villa was spotlessly clean, and we arrived to find a subtancial welcome food package. Nikos was very helpful when we arrived and during our stay, providing us with all the information we needed and requested. The property was lovely inside and out, rooms etc all good sizes. Air con worked perfectly. The location was great, far enough but not too far away from the many bars in Pefkos centre, which was about a 15 to 20 minute walk away. Nearer to home, a few minutes away, were 2 restaurants/bars and 2 supermarkets. Beach with sunbeds for hire just across the road with a number of beaches on route to Pefkos, with Lee Beach being the prettiest. Many places to visit nearby, Lindos easily accessible by bus or car, Lardos Square and further a field Rhodes old town but definitely need a full day or more to see it all. Lovely villa and holiday.

The kitchen area was very well equipped, but there wasn't much storage space for general food supplies or areas to prepare food, though this could be done on the dining table. The fridge, however, was large and had ample space for provisions.

We were there with our daughter, son in law, 10 year old granddaughter and 7 year old grandson, and there was plenty of indoor and out door space in this lovely villa so we didn’t feel we were in each others way at all. The children spent most of their time in the lovely swimming pool around which were very comfortable sun loungers and parasols to protect us from the sun, (when we were there it was in the high 30s everyday). Inside the villa the facilities were excellent, a well fitted, although small kitchen with everything we needed for self catering, comfortable beds and sofas, a smart television,( much to the children’s delight they could watch Netflix after a hard day’s swimming!) The villa’s owner was excellent at communicating with us once we had booked. Pre arrival he gave us lots very useful information about the local area and was there to meet us when we arrived. He showed us round and answered our questions and left us his phone number so we could contact him at any time. This was particularly useful as we were there during a period in which the local area suffered a great deal of wildfire damage and there were periods when we had power outages and also when we had no running water. Mr Nicos kept us informed of the developments and also arrived with lots of bottles of water to keep us going. We really appreciated how attentive he was to us. The villa is a couple of minutes walk away from the beach, a few local restaurants who were very welcoming to us tourists, and 2 small supermarkets where we could get the basics. We were given phone numbers for takeaways who would deliver so all in all the local facilities were excellent.

Just one small thing, as flushing toilet paper is is not allowed due to the islands sanitation arrangements, Mr Nicos is ever upgrading the toilets would he consider fitting bidets for hygiene purposes.

Lovely villa, great size for 4 adults and 4 children. The pool is perfect, beautiful views and the children played in it all day long. We used the bbq twice and all sat outside having dinner after a chilled day by the pool. We couldn’t fault the location, local bars and restaurants walking distance but we also hired a car and went into Lindos most evenings for dinner on the roof tops and lots of cocktails. When we arrived we also had welcome bits in the fridge which was very thoughtful.

The downstairs toilet didn’t flush so we had to use a bucket of water to flush it every time, this was the only fault about the property.

What a great holiday. The villa was superb; very comfortable, well equipped and spacious with an amazing private pool and outdoor terrace complete with dining area and barbecue. Nikos left us a welcome pack of food and drink which we really appreciated too. The location too was excellent. Lots of nice restaurants and sandy beaches, all within walking distance. There was a bus stop nearby with buses to Lindos and Rhodes. We visited both during our stay and had a couple of evenings out too in Lindos, returning home by taxi at the end of the evening. We also rented a speedboat for eight one day and had a wonderful afternoon sailing up the coast and snorkeling in the beautiful coves along the way. The water was amazingly clear.

Nothing -we had a lovely time.

Property was packed full of features, perfectly clean and a great welcome pack of food and drinks was available on arrival.

A heated pool and outdoor toilet would be a great addition, but really isn’t an issue. the pool and jacuzzi are fantastic.
