Villa Dedalos - Spacious luxury Villa with heated pool in Puerto Calero

Just home from what can only be described as an exceptional stay at Villa Dedalos - the villa is truly superb, spotlessly clean and plenty of space. The location was perfection (very close to Puerto Calero marina) and the pool area was the haven we all craved. The facilities are excellent (table tennis table, huge screen TV with all the channels you could wish for) & external dining spaces. Carlos (the amazing host) and his team went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were catered for. Whole heartedly recommend.

Nothing! Like Mary Poppins this villa is practically perfect in every way.

Carlos was a wonderful and attentive host. The villa was beautiful, with thoughtful attention to detail and guest comfort.

There was a lot of noise from the construction of a villa close by.

On arrival, the villa appeared to be in a quiet and remote area. This was ideal as my husband and I were looking forward to a relaxing 10 nights due to our stressful jobs. The villa was relatively quiet for a few days, with just the sounds of Stihl saws coming from the building works which were being carried out next to the villa. The area of Puerto Calero is very quiet and has a good selection of restaurants.

It became apparent on the 4th day the villa was in the middle of a building site, with not just one new villa being built, but 4. We managed to drone out the Stihl saw noises, but once the pneumatic drills started it was unbearable. This noise lasted from 7.00am until 4.30am, with a break of half an hour at 11.00. It was absolutely torture and ruined our holiday. To make things worse, there were bad winds and there was intermittent loud banging coming from the roof of the villa; this went on all night for the remainder of our stay. I appreciate the winds were out of the host's control, however, it was dismissed when we informed him. Therefore, we had to suffer intolerable deafening noise, day and night. We decided we couldn't bear the torture any longer and checked out of the villa, but not before not being able to get in touch with the host for 2 hours to find out how to correct the electric which had tripped, making the villa without water and electric. What started as a relaxing holiday turned into an absolute nightmare. although the host offered us a discount to return due to the inconvenience we encountered, we came home more stressed, and slightly upset that we were never told about the building works beforehand, so we could make an informed decision to not stay here. Finally, I have stayed in many luxurious villas and this was probably the least luxurious. Yes, it had all the mod-cons, but the outside furniture was dirty and extremely uncomfortable, and the villa offered nothing extra.

The property was all we expected and more. Beautiful, lovely open spaces, clean and well equipped. Location ideal for walking down to the Marina or going further to explore. Carlos was a great host.

Very quiet location. Beautiful high quality designed villa. Very spacious garden and balcony. Use of clothes washing facilities, bbq etc. was great. Plenty of pool towels and pool lounge chairs. The owner waited till late to meet us as our flight was delayed and allowed us to stay well beyond our check out time as we had a late return flight.

It would have been good if the cost of heating the pool was not an extra charge, especially as “with a heated pool” is in the title of the property. Also if there was an option to pay for only the days you wished it to be heated. Wi-Fi in some rooms was poor

This is an exceptional property. It has a large heated pool which we all enjoyed enormously. It is well located, close to shops and restaurants in Puerto Calero, but within an easy drive of other Lanzarote attractions. Our kind host, Carlos, went out of his way to ensure that we felt looked after - nothing was too much trouble, and he had all sorts of information and recommendations about where we should go and what we should visit. It was perfect accommodation for two families, with kids, wanting to explore Lanzarote whilst having a comfortable base which they could enjoy as much as the island's other attractions.

Wow ……. Amazing pace to stay. Beautiful clean villa with everything you could want and more for a stay. The host was fantastic. We will be back.

Amazing stay at this luxurious location. The host organised a trip to the National Park for me and my fellow travelers as an extra attraction. The villa has a big pool, the pool was heated and in January that was a big advantage since without that we wouldn't be able to use it. The kitchen was fully functional. Beautiful terrace with lovely furniture.

The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the bedding.
