L’emplacement vraiment exceptionnel, quelle vue !

Le manque de place pour faire demi-tour avec le véhicule dans le chemin d'accès, rendant difficile de manoeuvrer. Il ne faut pas avoir une grosse voiture.

The pool the view and the feeling of tranquility

Air conditioning in the ground floor bedroom was not as good as in the top room . Made it difficult to sleep as easily as we did in the first floor bedroom. We did not raise this at the time as some of the group preferred not to have the air-con on.

"Spectacular view and a really nice pool"

The view was spectacular. Nice outdoor space. Upstairs was really nice.

A bit to many insects for our taste. Downstairs bathrooms were a bit damp. Hard to drive the last part of the road to the villa and not any good place to turn the car around

"Attentive and Responsive Hosts"

We loved the beautiful terraces, swimming pool and stunning views. The kitchen was well equipped and had a washing machine and dishwasher which were greatly appreciated as was the air-conditioning. The cleaner came every 3 days and did a beautiful job. The owner also arranged for a daily collection of our bathroom bins as 3 days was too long to leave these in my opinion. They also dealt with problems with the WiFi connection and were very happy to help.

We didn't like that the villa was much more remote/inaccessible than the listing indicated. The listing on booking.com states that there is no car-parking and does not state that a car would be essential. You absolutely do need a car (and there is a parking space) because its right up a mountain on an unfinished road that taxis won't drive along. The distances given in the listing are 'as the crow flies' and the reality is that it is a steep, meandering ring road to shops and restaurants of maybe 90 minutes walk or more on the downward journey; we were fortunate to hire a car at the last minute. With a car it was the perfect location: quiet and with fabulous views and harbour activity to enjoy watching.
