Danai villa

We have just returned from 10 wonderful days at Danai villa. What an incredible experience! The villa is really well thought out and very well stocked kitchen. We loved the little welcome basket after a long day of travelling. The pool is huge with a good depth with a lip all around which is ideal for not so confident swimmers. All of the outside area is amazing. We particularly liked having the dining table close to the house to be close to the kitchen whilst still enjoying the views. The whole place was immaculately clean, and was regularly cleaned inside and out by a lovely lady. We want to say the biggest thank you to the host Lia. Who was so friendly, helpful and just a generally great person. The local taxis arent keen on getting to this villa, but lia organised some drivers for us multiple times. We would also recommend getting the local drivers to drop you near a villa on the ring road! The local supermarket will also deliver to you, especially it seems if you use the connections that Lia has on the island! Air conditioning worked great, good smart TV which we were able to log our own Netflix on to.

The walk is not for the faint hearted! Walking down to town is easy in about 20 minutes, back up is exhausting! Would recommend you hire a car, but prior warning its up some steep and high roads so only if confident. However it is manageable without a car just takes some organising!!

The view from Danai Villa is exceptional. The outside area and pool are absolutely beautiful. Lia is a wonderful hostess, she is always available to help with any questions.

The road to town is easy, takes about 15 mins. The walk back is hard, it’s very steep. However, when you look at the view this makes it worthwhile. Without the hill there would be no view!

this is an exceptional property to stay in with lots of space and breathtaking views. beyond our expectations.

The location is just perfect, quite a hike back up from the port. The host Lia is extremely friendly and helpful.you can sit for hours simply admiring the view

Upstairs bathroom is a little dark. Shower needs a holder on the wall maybe
