Bistrica Cottage

Truly a one of a kind place. Beautiful location and scenery. The house is well appointed and cosy. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, despite the bad weather conditions during our stay.

Gorgeous cottage on great location with magnificent river view. Great for relaxing weekend getaway. It has all the amenities and hosts were helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend it, and I will for sure come back.

Everything was great.

The cottage is in an amazingly beautiful setting in the middle of the forest by the stream. There are no neighbors, you can relax in real, perfect peace in an idyllic environment. The house is perfectly equipped, with a fireplace, wood-heated hot tub, and sunbeds. Ideal for travelers with dogs, there is a large space outside for dogs and they can enjoy the water too! 😊 The host was extremely kind and helpful, he answered any questions immediately and helped with everything! We can strongly recommend that place!

Quiet setting, beautiful house and nature.

This place really exceeded our expectations. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive, and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. The cottage itself is so well constructed with great attention to detail, craftsmanship, and design. The nature surrounding the cottage is serene and there are plenty of things to do on site. We would definitely stay there again.

An amazing, enchanting, and beautiful place that is Bistrica Cottage. Fairytale atmosphere is felt throughout the entire property, and it gives you a state of being free from tension and anxiety, total relaxation. A state of physical ease and freedom, total comfort. Seating has been arranged in many spots around the property, and if you sit long enough in mother natures valley you might just see a deer, beaver, fish, ducks or frogs. Marijan and his family were absolutely magnificent hosts, allways checking to see if we had everything we needed for our stay. A perfect way to end our 2 month holiday in Croatia, ready for real life back in Australia.
