Paradise Terrace House

Somos de Canarias y fuimos 2 familas, en general nos gusto todo y bastante. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia fantastica. Es amplia, bonita, nueva, super limpia y muy bien ubicada. Destacar la disponibilidad de su casera Manuela, hemos disfrutado muchisimo de la estancia.

2 climatisations sur 3 en panne. Salon de terrasse complètement troué et inutilisable. Garage à nettoyer et à ranger

Hosts are amazing. The heated swimming pool (it stays around 27°) was amazing. A lot of space in the property. We parked our 5008 rental easily inside the property. Rooms with air cons and a lovely kitchen.

The only downside it’s the location as it’s a bit far away from Lisbon and if you want to get there faster you need to use the A33 and A12.

La amabilidad de anfitrión

El aire acondicionado no iba bien.La cama de la habitación del último piso muy incómoda.

Mooi ruim huis, fijn zwembad. Prachtig dakterras Dichtbij Lissabon. Wij reden 25 minuten naar Bareiro en pakten daar de boot naar Lissabon centrum (20 min). Ideaal!

De airconditioning was kapot en we waren vooraf niet op de hoogte gebracht. Wel na de melding heel fijn contact hierover gehad met eigenaar en vergoeding voor gekregen, dus oplossing en communicatie daarna was prettig. Verder zijn de bedden niet meer zo geweldig. Je voelt de vering van het matras als je ligt en 1 van de bedden kraakt enorm bij elke beweging die je maakt. Deze zijn allemaal aan vervanging toe. Verder vonden wij 1 handdoek per persoon erg weinig bij een verblijf van 4 dagen. We hadden graag nog een paar kleine handdoeken ook gehad voor ons gezicht. Verder was er een soort van garage/tuinhuis om te zitten bij het zwembad, maar dit was niet echt opgeruimd . Er lagen veel oude en kapotte spullen waardoor het geen hele fijne plek was om te zitten. Daarbij waren er twee stoelen kapot. Als dit wordt opgeknapt is dit een fijne plek om te zitten. Verder misten we nog wat haakjes om de handdoeken op te hangen en een prullenbakje boven bij de toiletten. Kortom, echt een prachtig huis dat qua interieur aan opknapbeurt toe is.

A modern but very homely set up, with everything we needed. Very clean and sunset view from the top balcony was great to watch in the evening. The location is a residential one, and we enjoyed authentic coffee and pastries in the local cafe. About a 45 minute drive to Lisbon, and to the beaches. A car is essential if using this as a base to explore this part of portugal. Uber was easy to get to Lisbon and reasonably priced. Having a pool was a great bonus and our teenage kids made good use of it. There are suoermarkets near by with great fresh fish which we cooked on the bbq. Many good local restaurants too all very reasonably priced and within walkung distance. The hosts were welcoming and communication was excellent. We were very appreciative of the Rosé milk and portuguese pastries that were there for us on arrival. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

The mattreses are very firm, and the top floor bedroom could do with a small closet

Everything was beyond expectation. House was clean and tidy, seemed newly renovated. Uber in average 3 min away, 20-25 euro per trip, cca 30min drive. There are few restaurants 10-15 min walk. Also uber to get to the supermarket (plenty around 2-3 km away) for just 3-4euro. Few places in Lisbon have parking on premises, this place does and it's a game changer.

Bathrooms lacked hangers or hooks for towels. Rest was perfect.
