Eland Dream Villas

The property is everything we wished for and it’s probably the only time we have ever had zero complaints, not even a small one. Not only are the hosts incredibly nice and funny, but the whole villa looks brand new and everything inside and out has fine details to make it look premium. The hosts really went the extra length to make the villa an amazing experience for all. Highly recommend.

Great location short bus ride from old port. Private pool was very enjoyable and the view northwards over the water was amazing.

Well situated with great views of the ocean and small harbour. Walking distance to some good tavernas/restraunts and only short drive/taxi ride to Chania old town. Lovely outdoor spaces and pool area. Fabulous master room with double balcony and amazing picture window for sea views from bed.

The villa (Villa Avgi, bottom right on the picture) was modern, tastefully decorated and well designed. It has three proper double bedrooms (all en suite), two living areas, and an outside and inside dining area so could comfortably accommodate either 3 adult couples or a family with several children. The best feature of the villa was undoubtedly the outside patio area: it has a really good sized pool (for a private pool), which was really well maintained, with plenty of sun loungers and parasols and a lovely sea view. The outdoor dining area is designed so that it is in shade so can be used throughout the day. The owner and her team were very welcoming and helpful, in particular in providing a cot and high chair and coming up with an additional place that we could park when we were joined by family members who also had a car. The villa was serviced regularly and the cleaning staff did an unobtrusive but excellent job. While it is best to have a car (especially as Kalamaki is quite touristy), it is great that the villa has some restaurants and shops in walking distance, as well as being very close to the bus stop, meaning you don’t have to drive everywhere, particularly in the evening.

The kitchen was well set up for making breakfasts and simple lunches and dinners, but was relatively small and basic.

View was superb and every room for exceptional. The standard of the property was 5 star and the owner was so attentive and made sure everything was perfect

It is a bit of a steep walk back up from the beach but when we go back we will hire a car to see the area more.
