OberWood

I totally recommend staying at OberWood.It is an amazing place with unique an beautifil mix between traditional and modern.It feels like you are leaving inside the Village Museum but having all the modern facilities.The yard is huge, so there is a lot of place where you can relax, but also having privacy and the quietness of the place.The outdoor kitchen is big and well equipped and there is a nice pit fireplace where you can enjoy some quality time with family and friends.We really enjoyed the traditional breakfast made with local products.It was delicious.Special thanks to the host, it was really nice to meet someone so passionate and dedicated, always willing to assist, provide support and who knows a lot of details about the place.We spent 2 perfect days and we will come back for sure to stay longer.

Nothing to mention.

Absolutely nothing

Firstly they have 2 dogs and one quite agresive. Then the rooms are not quite clean and in the bathroom there’s obviously damp…you even smell it. I do understand it’s country side but I had to fight with the flies, spiders and other type of bugs in the room. Breakfast quite poor.

The traditional houses absolutely stunning , everything very clean and well maintained, the property it’s huge with all the facilities for leisure, you can do barbecue with friends, can hire bicycles, the breakfast was delicious, the host was extremely helpful and friendly, definitely I will recommend this place!

Everything was great, no complains

The setup with many areas where you can relax and the playground that was a plus and was very appreciated by my 4 years old daughter :) we also enjoyed the breakfast with local products that tasted really good.

The property is great.

The image of the seamlessly restored houses on the snow capped Fagaras mountains backdrop have stayed with us long after we left. This is slow tourism at its best, where everything from the waking up to the joyful chirping of birds in the trees outside the window, the sound of the nearby stream, the sumptuous breakfast with local produce, the benches on scattered around the garden so conducive to enjoying a good read are all meant to be savoured, taken in and enjoyed. Dana, our host has made us feel more than welcome and has gone above and beyond to make our stay one of the most comfortable and enjoyable ever.
