The place is beautiful, the huts are very authentic on the outside but inside there’s modern furniture and bathroom and all the facilities. The place was very clean and organized, we really enjoyed our stay, would love to come back.

The huge yard with all the different feasibilities. The comfort in the restored houses. The staff makes everything possible. The location very close to the mountains.

The yard, the quiet, the decor, the hammocks 👌, it is actually the fantasy of a house from a fairytale. The attention to details with all the old objects that remember of the life in the country side and old/traditional way of living is actually outstanding.

While I knew that we didn’t go there for luxury, be mindful of the insects going in the house, the fact that you need to go back and forth to the kitchen outside but that’s part of the experience and I enjoyed it. I appreciated the clean linen but there were a few spots missed in the house with the cleaning. The breakfast was ok, not the best not the worst (opted for the traditional one) I think it is a decent report value for money but the experience really worth it.

if you are looking for a slow paced spot to relax, enjoy a good book than this is the place. it is nicely traditional decorated and you do not miss anything

everything was nice. maybe a thing that bugged me was that you had to pay an extra 50 lei for the rental of the bikes instead of them being included in the accommodation price.

fantastic oasis to chill out, have a bath in the river nearby, cycle with their bicycles etc.; the cottages are nicely designed, clean and sell authentic charme; food can be easily prepared in the common open summer kitchen or ordered in the village; great traditional breakfast (has to be paid extra); the compound invites to socialize with others guests (if you like ...)

the deep sinks in the bathroom and especially "the kitchen" in the cottage are difficult to use, especially when it is expected to clean the dishes yourself; has nothing to do with Oberwood , but DON´t go to Valea Zanelor, this is the biggest tourist crap ever!

We could enjoy the benefits of an idilic, rustic romanian house in the exterior, while having a modern interiour. The large fenced yard with the little water stream was ideal for a week with our dog. We took breakfast in the exterior kitchen, from where you can admire the entire complex. There is a bigger water stream nearby, perfect for dipping your feet or allowing your dog to refresh. You can either interact or not with the other guests, the garden is big enough for privacy withing a small temporary community. Within one hour of driving you can visit beautiful Romania (Sibiu, Transfagarasan, Alba Iulia etc)

Not many things I didnt like. Life in the country side comes with certain aspects but all of them are explained by nature, in a romanian village.
