Bay View Villa

It was extremely accommodating. The games were such an amazing thing to have. Our family had so much fun playing games and the place just feels like home.

We enjoyed the games room, we absolutely loved the view and the homey feel of the place. The fact that everything you need is in the house and we hardly had to leave to get anything was fantastic. Aside from the extremely comfortable beds, the space is very spacious and well-maintained. The Host was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location

There was a substation outage in the area. The message was posted in the community group of which the agent is a member. She only informed us after we had no electricity for an entire night before Christmas. We tried multiple times to contact het without any success. As a result of the outage we lost some of our Christmas food that we were supposed to prepare. Much better and timeous communication would have been appreciated. Neither the owner nor the agent apologised for the poor communication, which was very disappointing. I made it clear that we were not happy with the lack of communication. There is a portrait of a fish called ‘Hotnotsgod’. This is a racially derogative term for coloured people. Please note that we are coloured.

The house was very comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The view was beautiful, and the facilitator of the property was very attentive and helpful.

Very spacious. Lots to do in the house being that we were a big group. The beds are extra comfortable and amenities are also perfect. The home creates enough privacy for groups but also has great spaces for group activities.

The property listing doesn’t disclose that there is poor water pressure in the showers which comes and goes. It is a a bit inconvenient to those people who shower multiple times a day but for the most part it was fine. Lastly it would’ve been great if pool was heated.

The pictures I saw on the booking com website when I made the booking did not totally match the apartment that was allocated to me If I knew I wouldn't have booked that place I would have booked elsewhere for the amount I paid Secondly the wifi did not work
