Villa Atas Lembongan

Incredible view looking over the bay, open plan style living and the villa hosts were really lovely and happy to help with any questions or requests we had. There are a lot of stairs to access the property but we knew this before we came and if anything it helped us stay fit from all the delicious food on the island. Once again the view was literally incredible and worth the steps and the construction noise.

We were told the night before about construction next door, it’s Bali so we are used to this but half the villa was boarded up meaning lack of light and air on one side and this really should’ve been mentioned on the booking site because it def seems like it wasn’t an overnight decision. That being said we were offered two motorbikes to use for our stay and these helped us escape and explore the island when it was too loud.

The views were stunning and great location to the beach, along with bars and restaurants. Great little private pool.

Being contacted 24hrs before that there were building works going on next door that were obviously no where near finished (20th July 25). We were compensated with a scooter for the duration of our trip, however, you are paying handsomely for the private pool and view. After trying to relax with hammer drills we gave up (daily between 10-5pm), to be fair the owner did refund one night for compensation after we complained. Property managers were really lovely people but seem to arrive unexpectedly and quite a few times during the day, so didn’t not feel that private.

The villa was in an exceptionally beautiful position overlooking the harbour with views of Mount Agung on the mainland. We had the 2 bedroom which was very spacious for us and our teenage son. Arim, one of the managers, even took us for a guided tour of Lembongan and Cenigan with our son riding on the back of his motorbike. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you Arim for your hospitality 😀

Just keep in mind that there are quite a few stairs to walk up if you are a less mobile person.
