Vip Villas - Caleta Dorada

The property was spacious, loved the privacy but also togetherness with our group, and it is centrally located with just a short walk to most places so unlike most villas you don’t need a car. The beds were comfy (although mine creaked loudly), everything we needed for our stay and loved having a washing machine and fresh clothes and towels, the pool was cleaned everyday and the maid came to clean regularly, plenty of towels and toilet roll, slippers on arrival, we enjoyed the Villa experience.

The 2nd bathroom wasn’t a bathroom, it was a toilet and a jacuzzi bath, and this was also the hot tub, it wasn’t accessible to all of our group who had mobility issues as it was down a spiral staircase into the basement which was where the pool table was, the staircase was partly outside and also looked into the bath/jacuzzi so this wasn’t private to shower (ok for a family) the staircase didn’t have a bannister either. We were a bit disappointed as we thought the hot tub was by the pool. It also smelled a bit musty and damp and there was a music system throughout the villa that wasn’t connected, it would have been amazing if it had worked. There were roadworks going on right outside so this spoiled our sleep and peace at the Villa, although this is going on all over caleta de Fuste just now so was just our bad luck that they were drilling at 7.30am at our bedroom window 🙈

Location was good, staff was excellent and very helpful with regular cleaning of villa and pool

Property a bit dated and tired, bedrooms were accessed from outside terrace, for security you had to lock yourself in the room at night

This was our second time yo stay in vip villas and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back again.

There was nothing we didn't like at all

Great space inside and outside villa, good location for short walk to Caleta de Fuste. Staff excellent from reception, cleaner and pool guy were all lovely.

Villa is extremely dated and windows are so old and warped there is huge space for ants and cockroaches to come in as we experienced. Villa 2 is directly under the flight path for all flights descending into the airport...it's very noisy. The wider complex and those surrounding are under refurbishment so the whole area is like a construction site. I believe the Caleta Dorada hotel will be back open later this year but it remains fully closed with exception of the villas. Pool needs access rail to support those with mobility issues. Kitchen is not fully equipped as one would expect, just off top of head no collider, grater or peeler. Because of windows we had ant and cockroach issues. Overall a disappointment for what we paid. Should be noted that all staff were excellent.

Location suits us, everything you need. Basement with pool table & jacuzzi a bonus. Pool cleaner & maid most days. Enjoy having our own space & pool. This is our 3rd visit & we will return next Easter holiday's..

Issues with doors & safe not locking but was dealt with & rectified immediately. Villa is spotlessly clean but dated. Some broken lamps & other fittings. Bed in master bedroom awful!

it was more elevated than number 10 so a bit more privacy

the villas need doing up a bit. there was no radio or bbq as advertised. also we wasn’t informed the complex was mainly closed to due to the construction. this would have been nice to know as it was a ghost town.

We have stayed in the bungalows at this resort before and they were good, we moved accommodation after trying another complex which was dreadful and booked the villa 1 hour before arrival and was absolutely first class service and the Villa it self was VIP as stated in its name. Will be booking again !

All i liked is the garden and the pool as it looked modern and was somewhat clean

Pretty much the whole house as it smelled bad, not clean at all, infested with ants and completely outdated.
