The villa was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The pool area was fantastic and had plenty of outdoor furniture, loungers, tables, chairs, bbq etc which makes for easy outdoor living. Beds were comfortable, showers were good and kitchen/dining room space was brilliant. Very well equipped throughout (save a few bits of kitchen equipment) so it was easy to move in and get going. Larder cupboard was stocked with lovely olive oil and other bits a pieces. Location was rural, being 10 mins from Rethymno but only an easy 10 min walk to a Taverna in Adele village. We found that having a car was essential.

There were no parts we disliked about the villa, although parking car was interesting. The drive way was pretty narrow. Also, the kitchen could have a few more bits of equipment as self catering was a big part of why we chose such a beautiful villa. A few items that would be good are some smaller oven trays, sharper knives, bbq set (tongs etc), full length mirror, cool box for beach trips and some more glassware. Theses are items are only noticed when living in the villa and would just enhance what is already offered.
